Our Anticline facility, located on the Pinedale Anticline of Wyoming, has been in operation since 2002 and offers state-of-the-art treatment technology to handle the water needs of our partners in the area.
Anticline Process
- Produced and flowback water are delivered to the facility via dedicated pipeline and trucks
- BTEX and methanol are removed using anaerobic and aerobic biological treatment.
- Coagulation and flocculation are followed by multimedia filtration.
- Discharge quality water is achieved using reverse osmosis and ion selective boron removal.
Anticline Results
- The ability to process up to 60,000 barrels per day for frac recycle and up to 20,000 barrels per day for discharge.
- The treatment of frac and production water to a better-than-drinking-water standard and a total discharge level of approximately 1.5 million barrels into the New Fork River, which is part of the Colorado River system.
- Overall system water recovery exceeds 90%
